Meditating with Vimalakirti – Deconstructing Yourself

In this eight-part series, dharma teachers Michael Owens and Michael Taft present the Vimalakirti Nirdesa Sutra (The Advice of Vimalakirti) for the San Francisco Dharma Collective. In each of the eight parts, Michael Owens will discuss the background and core ideas for a chapter (or two), and Michael Taft will lead a guided meditation and discussion on those topics.

Part One

This video covers the first two chapters of the sutra. MC Owens draws primarily from his own translation, supplemented by the Thurman and Watson translations.
