Once we establish the view of vast spacious awareness, we can notice that awareness is already aware. There’s nothing you need to do to make it more aware. Notice further that aware is aware everywhere “within” it; there is no part of awareness that is not aware.

As a consequence of this everywhereness of awareness, there is no part of the field of awareness that we cannot notice. We don’t have to just hold the view of the furthest reaches of awareness, but also anything or everything in the field. So, here we can allow awareness itself to notice the process of breathing, without losing the sense of the vast spaciousness. We allow awareness itself to be aware of the process of breathing, without particularly concentrating on it in any way.
